Federal Government Won't Bankroll State Project Overruns, Anwar Warns
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has signalled that Putrajaya will not automatically absorb additional expenses incurred by state governments from their own decisions. Requests for extra federal funding must be renegotiated.
