Chinese villager loses nose saving woman from attacker, named national hero
A 69-year-old former village official in central China has been recognised as a national hero after sustaining severe facial injuries while subduing an attacker threatening a woman's life. Despite losing most of his nose, Zeng Fanlin held the aggressor until police arrived.
