Perak Authorities Order Palm Oil Mill to Halt Polluted Sludge Discharge into Sungai Sepetang
Perak's Department of Environment has issued enforcement orders against a palm oil mill after a ruptured retention pond contaminated Sungai Sepetang near Taiping, killing fish and damaging livelihoods of over 100 fishermen and the local firefly tourism industry.
