Former Layang-Layang MP Abandons Umno, Joins Bersatu After MCA Gets Parliamentary Seat
Abd Mutalip Abd Rahim, the previous representative for Layang-Layang, has exited Umno and joined Bersatu following the decision to award his former seat to MCA. He intends to contest under the Perikatan Nasional banner.
