Malaysia Expands Child Sexual Abuse Laws to Prosecute Offences Committed Overseas
Malaysia is expanding its Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017 to prosecute child abuse cases occurring outside the country. The amendment grants jurisdiction when perpetrators or victims have ties to Malaysia.
