Malaysia Removes 12,353 Deepfake Posts in First Half of 2024
Malaysia's communications regulator has successfully removed 12,353 deepfake and manipulated content posts since January, representing a 94 per cent success rate. The government is strengthening enforcement through new AI labelling requirements.
