Japan Carries Out First Execution Under PM Takaichi
Japan has executed Sunao Takami, 58, for a 2009 arson attack on an Osaka pachinko parlour that claimed five lives. The execution marks the first under recently appointed Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi.
