Royal Brunei Police Force officers from the Gambling Suppression and Vice Prevention Unit conducted two separate raids across the Brunei-Muara District on Sunday, June 14, resulting in the detention of two local women on suspicion of involvement in immoral activities.

The first operation took place in Kampong Salambigar, where a 39-year-old local woman was apprehended at a rented accommodation. Officers suspected her of engaging in illegal vice activities.

A second raid in Kampong Lumapas led to the arrest of a 29-year-old local woman, who is believed to have both participated in and facilitated similar offences. Both individuals and materials recovered during the enforcement actions were transferred to the Gambling Suppression and Vice Prevention Unit headquarters for ongoing investigations.

The RBPF stated it remains dedicated to eliminating vice-related and moral offences throughout the country to maintain public safety and social stability. Residents with information about suspected immoral activities are encouraged to report them to police via the hotline 993.
